These terms cover your use of Randomizer — both this website and our mobile apps (Randomizer on Google Play and Random name & list generator on the App Store). By using Randomizer you agree to what follows. We have kept it short and in plain language.
The service is provided as-is
Randomizer is offered free to use, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from its use.
What the randomness is for
The tools are meant for everyday and entertainment use — picking a name, splitting teams, rolling dice, choosing a number, and so on. They are not suitable for gambling, lotteries, cryptographic key generation, security, or any safety-critical or high-stakes decision. Please do not rely on Randomizer where a wrong or predictable result could cause harm.
Your lists are stored on your device
The lists you create are saved locally — in your browser on the website, or in the app’s storage on your phone. They are not backed up to us or synced across devices. That means they can be lost if you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, or lose the device. Keeping your own copy of anything important is your responsibility.
Premium purchases
The mobile apps offer an optional one-time premium upgrade that removes ads and unlocks extra lists. Purchases are made through, and governed by the terms of, Google Play or the Apple App Store. Payments, receipts, refunds, and restoring a purchase are handled by those stores under their policies, not by us.
Changes
We may update Randomizer and these terms over time — to add features, adjust how it works, or reflect new services. When we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Randomizer after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia and the European Union. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. If you have a question about these terms, email us at [email protected].
